Curriculum Vitae

Born on October 10, 1950 in Živinice. Elementary School completed in Živinice, and Bachelor Degree in Law received from the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo in 1974. Bar examination passed on January 16, 1976. Professional Background: Deputy Prosecutor in Tuzla; Judge of the Municipal Court in Tuzla; Judge of the County Court in Tuzla and Deputy President of Court; President of the County Military Court in Tuzla (war period); Assistant Ombudsman of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Tuzla (OSCE Mission); Secretary of the Government of Tuzla Canton (one term of office); Minister of Justice in the Government of Tuzla Canton (one term of office); Head of the Customs Office in Tuzla; Secretary of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Married, father of two.

Secretariat of the Government of Federation of BiH

Scope of Work:

Secretariat of the Government performs expert work for the needs of the Government of the Federation BiH and Government’s working bodies related to:

• preparation and organization of the sessions of the Government and Government's working bodies;
• organization and preparation of material for the sessions of the Government and coordination of other Government's  working bodies;
• preparation and follow-up of implementation of the resolutions and other documents related to staff policy issues covered by the Government's scope (appointments, discharges and other tasks covered by the Government's scope;
• preparation and follow-up of implementation of the Government's conclusions;
• direct interpretation and translation of written materials to/from foreign language and ensuring interpretation and translation services for the foreign languages other than English;
• proof-reading of the texts of laws, regulations and general documents, analyses, reports and other materials enacted, i.e. considered by the Government or submitted by the Government to the Parliament of the Federation BiH, i.e. to the President and Vice-Presidents of the Federation BiH;
• administrative-technical and expert- operative tasks.

Pursuant to the Decree on modifications and amendments to the Decree on Expert Department of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina („Official Gazette of the Federation BiH“ No. 44/07), scope of the Secretariat of the Government of the Federation BiH was extended to include:

• proposals to draft and introduce IT projects involving several bodies and coordination thereof;
• IT support in using joint IT projects;
• analysis, standardization and upgrading of information and services provided by the Federal organs through web;
• implementation of the strategic partnership contract with Microsoft and preparation of future contractual relations;
• representation of the Federal organs in IT field at the state level;
• drafting of standards and recommendations in the IT field;
• promotion and introduction of software based on open code;
• IT support (preparation of small-scale IT projects, procurement of hardware etc.) to the Government and the Government's Offices, preparation of video presentations and technical support to presentations;
• Preparation, implementation and follow up of the project „Government without Papers“ and other tasks in area of IT technology of common interest for Federal organs.
