Curriculum Vitae

Born on September 14, 1960 in Šije, Municipality Tešanj. Grammar High School completed in Doboj and undergraduate studies at the Law School of the Sarajevo University. He used to perform various jobs in police, especially on fighting and disclosing criminal acts. He used to hold positions of the Secretary of the Municipality Tešanj, Judge, Assistant Minister of Justice in the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, then the Minister of Labor, Social Policy and Refugees in the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and Minister of Interior in the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton. In Elections of October 1, 2006 elected the Representative in the Parliament of the Federation BiH. During the war he was engaged in the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has passed the bar exam. Married, father of two.

Scope of Activity

• preventing and disclosing criminal acts of the international crime and terrorism, unauthorized narcotics trafficking and organized crime and other criminal acts falling under jurisdiction of the Federation BiH;
• tracing and capture of those who committed such criminal acts and their handing over to the relevant authorities;
• providing criminological-technical expert opinions;
• issues and publishes INTERPOL's international, Federal and inter-cantonal pursuits;
• cooperates with relevant prosecutor's offices related to processing the criminal cases;
• Federation’s citizenship issues;
• providing security services to eligible persons and buildings of the Federation;
• safeguard of human rights and civil freedoms in area of the interior affairs;
• transport of explosive substances;
• other tasks falling under its competence as established by the law on Interior Affairs and other regulations.
