CURRICULUM VITAE

Born on November 2, 1961 in Tuzla.

Elementary school, Mathematical Grammar High School and Mining-Mechanical Faculty completed in Tuzla. Postgraduate study completed in 2010, acquiring the title of Master of Economic Science, Orientation to General Management.

Prior to the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina had been employed with a company in the private sector. On May 15, 1992 volunteered to join the Army of the Republic BiH, and at the end of the war had the rank of the Officer of the Army of the Republic BiH.

Following the war, had worked in the Factory of Polyurethane Chemistry "Polihem", and since December 1996 had worked in the Customs Administration of the Federation BiH, holding the positions of Associate for Commodity Inspection and Customs Inspector for Documents Admission. Since 1998 in the Customs Administration of the Federation BiH, the Associate for Intelligence Affairs in the Sector for Prevention of Smuggling, Head of Customs Branch Office in Tuzla and Director of the Customs Office Tuzla.

Since April 2005 up to date, Director of the Public Company "Directorate of Construction".

Member of the Presidency of the Municipal and Cantonal Committee of the Social Democratic Party Tuzla and President of the Tennis Club "Sloboda" Tuzla. Married, father of one.

Scope of Activity

Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications executes the administrative, professional and other tasks as set out by the laws falling under competence of the Federation in areas of transport and communications, as follows: road transport and public roads, rail, air, maritime, river, lake transport; pipeline transport; safety of roads, railway, air, maritime, river and lake transport; pipelines transport; safety of road, rail, air, maritime, river and lake transport; flight control; telecommunications and posts, except for establishment and functioning of the joint and international communication devices; inspection supervision in the field of public roads and road, rail, air, maritime, river and lake transport and other tasks as set out by the laws.

Under the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications are the Federal Directorate for Civil Aviation and Federal Directorate for Building, Managing and Maintaining Motorways.
Federal Directorate for Civil Aviation executes professional and other tasks falling under competence of the Federation related to: planning, coordination and development, standardization and maintenance of the capacities of the airport facilities and equipment, flight control equipment and aircrafts; coordination of airliners, strategy of civil aviation, aeronautic inspection, flying permits/licenses, airport management and statistics, flight safety, aero-navigation, rescuing service, receipt and delivery of messages, as well as training and development of human resources through appropriate institutions and companies in area of transport.

Federal Directorate for Building, Managing and Maintaining Motorways performs professional and other tasks under the authority of the Federation relating to the  following:  financial engineering; preparation, organization and managing of construction of  motorways with high level of serviceability (motorway, semi-motorway and high-speed motorway); coordination and implementation of commitments in defining and constructing the motorway corridor (Vc and other corridors); preparation of long-term and middle-term plans for development of motorways in the Federation; elaboration of project tasks for construction of motorways in the Federation; preparation of investment-technical documentation; preparation, defining and elaboration of tender documentation; preparation of conditions for construction of motorways; elaboration of plans and standards for traffic safety of motorways construction; follow up of civil works completion in accordance with dynamic plans and performing other activities related to construction of motorways which particularly refers to: preparation of project documentation (technical tests of various possibilities of route extension in available space and coordinate between Ministries, Municipalities and owners of buildings and lands, elaboration of studies and draft projects, preparation of site drawings, etc.); obtaining location permits, building permits and utilization permits for motorways with high level of serviceability and road buildings/facilities; acquisition of land and buildings; payment of indemnification and other costs connected to preparation of construction; organization of financing for construction of motorways with the high level of serviceability (contacts with international finance institutions, creation of background for preparation and award of concessions, etc); preparation of bidding documentation and  award of civil works on high serviceability level motorway construction and road buildings/facilities; organization of professional technical supervision and construction control; organization of technical inspections and commissioning of high serviceability level motorways  as well as parts of these motorways for use and maintenance.
