Scope of Activity

• Planning, coordinating, R&D, manufacture, overhaul, sale, testing, verification, quality control, standardization and metrology of arms and military equipment;
• Monitoring situation in the field of manufacture of arms and military equipment (AME);
• Drafting of laws, regulations and by-laws in this field;
• Managing the companies for AME manufacture in the territory of the Federation BiH, regardless to a final user;
• Planning, contracting, coordination and control in the area of AME development;
• Planning, coordination, approving, i.e. carrying out the tasks related to sale and transport of AME and semi-products and raw-materials for manufacture of AME also in collaboration with other relevant  Ministries;
• Issuance of appropriate documentation;
• Organizing and supervising the system for ensuring the quality of AME manufacturers;
• Defining the policy and regulations related to procedures and competencies in metering issues in function of specific needs of the military industry of the Federation BiH;
• Supervising and establishing the security and protection system and development of manufacture, marketing and overhaul of AME;
• Organizing and realizing a scientific-technical cooperation with other countries for the issues related to sale, development, quality control, standardization and manufacture of AME
